As a guide a smaller venturi will reduce power delivery but by reducing the amount of air passing into the engine which also will reduce the fuel require hence increasing run times but be wary that on occasions, too small of a venturi will reduce power to the extent that you will be driving harder and thereby increasing consumption. A larger venturi will increase power, increase the tuning window making the tune easier and also unfortunately generally increase fuel consumption.
